Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in Exeter

Not a lot to do, we enjoyed the local pub and walks but that was it

Lovely, safe and quiet.

Loved the neighbours, the neighbourhood, no complaints ever. Was quiet, pleasant and lovely place to live if the house was properly maintained

The local area outside the building was rally nice but the building itself that had this flat was dodgy! There are a lot of alcoholic people holding their Whisky and sitting on the couches of the porch.

A short walk to the university campus and a little longer to town. 30 seconds to the nearest convenience store.
Downstairs neighbour, Margaret, was very nice. The majority of local residents are students like ourselves. We rarely had any issues with noise, but there was a lot of rubbish left on the street at the end of term. The university does have steps in place to reduce this however.

A studenty area close to the high street with lots of shops, pubs and bars. I recommend the Black Horse for a good quiz!

This is a quiet neighbourhood, close to town and the station. It's not very studenty.
