Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in London

Camberwell is wonderful, full of great pubs and restaurants. The tube is approx 20 min walk to the tube, 10-15 min walk to Loughborough Junction and Denmark Hill train stations, and well connected for many buses.

This property is on a lovely quiet cul de sac next to a really nice park.

The neighbourhood is very versatile.
Some streets are very dirty and full of houses in disrepair state. Some are very nice.
Close neighbours often have noisy parties.
Bishop's Park is very close and very enjoyable.
Fulham Road has a lot of nice shops and restaurants.
Close to bus lines to either Hammersmith or South Kensington.

Noisy dogs on street, bad neighbours, saw muggings happen from our window, felt quite unsafe in the house.

ASB Neighbours. Noisy, intimidating, rude and drug users. Would let dogs roam around streets and into our gardens.

Local area of fine, apart dodgy north end road that after 9pm is fulfilled with a dodgy drug dealers.

Very nice neighbourhood. Shame about the house. Very quiet tree lined toad with lots to do nearby

Primrose Hill is a lovely are, however I can’t go back without thinking of this awful experience. What a shame.

The location is fine, 7 min to tube, but the room is just above the kitchen. So if someone cooks you can smell the kitchen fumes. Which is happen every day.

I personally love the area, it looks right onto Folkestone Gardens park which is beautiful and has a great cafe. Its not super close to a tube station or a pub but you can walk or get a quick bus to Canada Water or New Cross. Never had an issue with any neighbours, the road outside is a little treacherous so there were a couple accidents in the year we lived there though.

I love the area, have lived here before. Two lovely parks nearby, close to Surrey Quays station and a walk to New Cross. Not really any pubs but can get the bus to New Cross or Peckham.
