Never safe to leave motorcycle or bike in the parking and there is no lamp or something where you can chain. Local thugs often visit the area and nicked few motorcycles.

Love the neighbourhood. Close to the city centre and both universities, and extremely close to amenities with regular bus services. Could not fault area at all

Quiet in the morning but later on very loud because of the pub next door. Buses late all the time, only 2 shops and not much to do.

Lovely small town neighbourhood, interesting experience for some time. Everyone knows each other, quite a unique overall experience, but definitely a good way to focus on studying.

The local are would be relatively nice, however it is completely ruined by the neighbours being, while friendly, very loud and with very low hygienic standards and practiced no social distancing during the lockdown. Trash can easily pile up in the bins if the tenants don't take out them out regularly. Noise is usually limited at during the morning and afternoon, but sometimes can go on until the early morning. All of this is more relevant for someone who is planning to work mostly from home.

One of the best locations. It is about 3 minutes from the gym, 7 from North Haugh. This is perfect if you are a science student. Also, there is a bus stop right outside which is handy when the weather is bad or you want to go some place else.

It is a 5-10 minute walk from town. The street is okay lit, but it often has high school kids walking around who can be quite bothersome. Personally, I don't feel safe walking back to the place too late at night because of the kids.

It was close to shops and the tube was across the road. Luckily the road itself was very quiet. Very handy for getting into the city where I work. Stepney Green is very nearby too.

A brilliant community with close access to a variety of different shops and not too far from the university. Bus routes very close by but a steep hill to climb from the city centre.

Could have been a bit closer to town, otherwise perfect, friendly neighbours, people in building generally got along well although some like to play loud music way too late.
