This area is not for young people who are looking for a vibey area. More suitable for people who consider the transport link into London important, but it's a 15 min walk to a station.

Good location for services and the city

Peaceful, had some shops, generally okay.

The part of Twerton we were in was fine, we were close to both a U5 bus stop to go onto university, and a 5 bus stop into town. Along Twerton High Street are two general stores, which was useful.
However, the way to the house is under a bridge and up a road that is not entirely well-lit, and on a few occasions there have been loud altercations along High Street, which, as young women often made us feel slightly worried for our safety. We were never approached and we always made sure there was a good distance between us and the arguments, but we always made sure to get back inside the house quickly.

Horrendous landlord.
All is fine until you ask for repairs to be done.
I lived in one of his flats in Accrington for 3 years. Had damp and mould problems the whole time. Mike refused to acknowledge repairs and told me to move out if I wasn't happy. Instead i opted to report him to environmental health at the council. The council intervened and forced him to do the necessary repairs. As soon as the council told him he had to do the repairs, Mike made it very clear he wanted me to move out, and he immediately added £100 to my rent. Be aware of this slum landlord. He uses the company name Diamond Developments And Lettings Limited. Registered in Warrington.

Not a bad area nm 12 Bus decent other buses quite bad

Not a bad area a bit away from town, very hard to get into town in morning takes additional 30min in uber, but close to bearwood so ok, Tesco not that far by for few bits but not amazing
