The property had no central heating or gas safety certificate for a year of living there. Sat in the cold in the depths of winter desperately trying to keep warm. Windows didn't close, got blamed for "breaking them" when I didn't touch them. The house had not been decorated in years. Rising damp from ground floor and damp around property from no heating. Everything generally in poor condition.
