We did actually love this flat which is why we put up with the awful letting agent and landlord.
The rooms were large with high ceilings, it had a large garden and nice new carpets in the bedroom.
But the place had clearly not been taken care of - peeling paint on the doors, big crack in a window, mould in the washing machine etc. And the large garden was completely overgrown and unmanageable. But the agents and the landlord made us feel like we couldn't raise issues as they wouldn't be dealt with quickly and we might have our contract ended if we "caused trouble." Jokes on us, we ended up being made to leave anyway.
