The studio was dirty, the venetian blind broken, the walls dirty, the shared bathroom dirty, the mattress horrible. After you pay your deposit and the month rent, he start to no respond your complaints, even with mice in the property he don't do nothing.
In the advertisement it proudly publishes that the bills are included and when you have paid the holding deposit it tells you to pay an extra £100 in case of fair usage policy, which are not protected. At the end of the lease they are not returned to you. And if you ask him, he no longer responds to emails. It is a hidden expense that is not indicated in your SpareRoom advertisement and that, since it is not protected, you cannot claim later. He never tells you where the meters are or shows you the invoices to show that you have really spent more than he believes is a reasonable expense.
