A nice, convenient area with good local amenities

Overall, I found the area quite pleasant and felt safe on the street. I never really experienced any problems, and the neighbours were generally nice. The neighbours who moved into the property at the bottom towards the end of our tenancy were particularly friendly.

The location is convenient, with the train station very close by, making it easy to get around. There is a Co-op nearby, as well as a couple of lovely parks and a local pub, so there are some nice amenities within easy reach.

There is free on-street parking, which is useful, although parking directly on the property can be difficult and requires negotiation with the neighbours. Unfortunately, the landlord does not offer support with these arrangements, so you may need to resolve any parking disagreements yourself.

The property also technically has a garden, but it was essentially inaccessible during our tenancy, so it wasn’t really a usable benefit.

Overall, the area itself was one of the positives of living here. It is convenient, has a friendly neighbourhood feel and offers good access to transport and local amenities. The main drawbacks were the practical issues around parking and the lack of access to the garden.

Lovely Area of lewisham

During our tenancy, we experienced multiple severe and ongoing maintenance failures that were left unaddressed or ignored by the landlord for months.
> Damp & Mould: There was pervasive damp and mould throughout the flat, which negatively affected the health and physical well-being of the occupants and our dog (exacerbating skin conditions and severe allergies).
> Rodent Infestation: We reported rodent sightings inside the property, but the landlord consistently refused to bring in professional pest control services for months.
> Leaks & Property Damage: Persistent water ingress from the flat above caused damage to our personal belongings (including clothing). Despite repeated requests, the landlord failed to resolve the leaks and refused to provide building insurance details as requested under the tenancy agreement.
> Security & Lock Failure: The property door lock was faulty, leading to repeated lockouts. The landlord refused to send out a qualified locksmith for several months, leaving us with an ongoing security and access issue.
Upon giving our notice to vacate, the landlord subjected us to over 25 viewing demands. Access demands were frequently issued with less than 24 hours' notice rather than polite requests, severely disrupting our right to quiet enjoyment of the property.

Area is pretty good

Nice neighbourhood overall - just watch out for the particular building complex as there are many maintenance issues including mice!

Nice area, decent connections.

Situated in a residential area between Chiswick and Acton it was perfectly situated to access many different shops and great transport links. Plenty of great pubs and restaurants in the area and a wide variety of amenities in the area. Close to several gyms and a park with outdoor gym equipment was 2 minutes from the flat.

The area was quiet, safe, and convenient, with good access to public transport, shops, schools, parks and other local amenities. Overall, it was a pleasant and convenient place to live.

Love the area but close to a school.

The area itself was one of the more positive aspects of the tenancy. It benefits from good transport links, convenient local amenities and a generally practical location for day-to-day living.

There are plenty of shops, restaurants and services nearby, making it a convenient place to live - beware it comes at a price of noise from traffic and services.
