As property was originally a one bedroom and now converted to a two bedroom with open plan kitchen and lounge there is very little kitchen cupboard space, and no space to keep a general waste bin and you need to recycle there is no space for recycling bins, so this flat even though it has two bedrooms it is suitable for a couple or one person. Definitely not suitable for two friends who need their own kitchen cupboard space. Boiler is in loft space so if you have to restart the boiler which happens it's difficult to get to, so you need to be able to be comfortable climbing up into loft which is not easy so you need to consider this. Being an upstairs property you will end up hating the stairs, as stairs are steep, your knees do feel it. No hand rail so expect to slide down the stairs at some point at least the stairs are carpeted so a soft landing. Property was originally a house so no sound proofing so you constantly get into heated arguments with your neighbours on the ground floor, you can hear them and they hear you. As they are very social and love listening to music so if you like your peace and quite then you will have an issue, and the downstairs will have an issue with crying babies and children running as downstairs ceiling shakes so expect to get a knock and ask to control your child. There is nothing you can do as both flats complain to each other. Whoever converted the property into flats should have installed sound proofing between the two flats. If you smoke, you have the stairs to consider, as you cannot smoke in property so if you keep going in and out you will again annoy the downstairs occupants so you will need to be quite going in and out of property, you also will need to smoke on the pavement as your smoke goes into the bottom flat as they have a window right there is always open as they work from home so always home. It will be impossible to have a good relationship with your neighbours downstairs as they will annoy you and you will annoy them. the noise factor is going to be an issues even if both flats try to be good neighbours, doors closing will also be an issue due to the bedroom being right there and before you think they can close bedroom door, they have cats so doors cannot be closed as the cats access the bedroom. Another issue is finding parking is a nightmare as the driveway belongs to the property downstairs and you cannot park them in as they work odd hours and they will not allow you to park them in, and as the street is free people from the neighbourhood come to the street to park so if you have a car this will be an issue. No double glazing in the lounge so you can hear traffic and noisy pedestrians and football days are a nightmare. The occupants downstairs and the neighbours either side feed foxes out the front you need to be a fox lover as it smells of fox urine and you need to look out for fox poo when exiting property and entering. If you want a tidy, and inviting entrance you will be expected to clean the driveway as it is a magnet for the streets rubbish, and bin days you get the neighbours rubbish blowing into your entrance and leaves from trees are constantly being blown into the driveway. I hope this review is helpful
