Initially a good move in experience, but as time progressed repairs were not carried out and allowed to worsen (including bathroom flooring becoming loose exposing nails and creating jagged corners). When mould became an issue they painted over this, but given the states of exterior walls it was recurring. Mind The Flat were unwilling to push for any action besides recommending mould sprays to use.

When I asked to speak to the Landlord directly, they refused to provide their details as I believed was my right as a tenant. I disputed this with the Property Ombudsman who advised the agency effectively were acting as both agency and landlord - the result being that Mind The Flat will not let you communicate with the landlord directly yet also incapable of carrying out improvements as a landlord should. I left the property due to recurring building issues leading to mould and damp walls, however, when walking past the property at a later date saaw works were being carried out on the exterior walls, so my complaints were valid but Mind The Flat prioritize landlord indifference to tenants issues above all else.
