Rude, arrogant, laughed in my face when told I had become extremely sick due to his negligence. Rent continuously increased in response to requests for repairs. Worst renting experience of my life. Had to threaten the landlord with court multiple times to get back what I was owed at the end of the tenancy.

Property looked good when I moved in. Unfortunately I quickly discovered serious issues had been painted over. Leaking window in the bedroom caused a serious mould issue behind the wallpaper and made me extremely ill, landlord laughed in my face about it. Took months to get repaired, couldn't use the bedroom for all that time. Discount requested on rent but ignored. No electrical safety certificates, landlord argued he didn't need one. Soaking wet electrics in the kitchen, which began tripping regularly. Electrical safety certificate mysteriously appeared, signed by someone I'd never met and who had never attended the property. Environmental health had to get involved, ordered repairs of the property, which were not even started by the time I left 6 months later. Flat relet without repairs completed.
