Horrendous landlord.
All is fine until you ask for repairs to be done.
I lived in one of his flats in Accrington for 3 years. Had damp and mould problems the whole time. Mike refused to acknowledge repairs and told me to move out if I wasn't happy. Instead i opted to report him to environmental health at the council. The council intervened and forced him to do the necessary repairs. As soon as the council told him he had to do the repairs, Mike made it very clear he wanted me to move out, and he immediately added £100 to my rent. Be aware of this slum landlord.
