19 Church Walk

Please don't take the risk of renting from this landlord. We're good tenants who always pay our rent on time, and keep the places we live in in good condition. Due to some poorly connected plumbing in this property (the soil pipe had been connected cheaply with silicone, and the rainwater pipe had not been connected up), we were left with sewage covering our roof for over 3 months. During this time the landlord and her family tried their hardest to blame the issue on us, despite a report from two plumbers saying the issue was the poorly-connected and poorly-repaired pipework. A council environmental health officer inspected the property, confirmed the plumbers' report, and mandated the landlord to fix the pipework which she did very reluctantly expressing a lot of anger towards us.
4-5 months in to the tenancy, the landlord started asking us to pay her extra rent or leave the house before our year-long contract was up, claiming that people on visas should pay more rent (one of the tenants, she found out, was on a visa) - we received multiple messages every day from her about this, she contacted our workplaces, shone a torch through the window at night to see what we were doing, and came into the garden in the early morning without permission and took photos through the window (including taking photos of one of the tenants in their pyjamas). It was to such an extent that the police had to come and tell her to stop.
The landlord did not check our right to rent or provide an EPC at the start of the tenancy - when she belatedly realised she should have done this, she tried to pressure us to leave and evicted us at the earliest opportunity.
I could write much more about other incidents from this landlord, but this gives a flavour of the kind of thing we had to put up with.

The house itself is nice - there's a problem with rodents in the autumn-spring unfortunately so you'd need to bring some humane traps and a lot of wire wool. Apart from that, it's an alright house.
