Absent mostly. The letting agent was OK and professional in keeping on top of checks and repairs, but landlord very neglectful and usually delayed - or never authorised- all repairs except for the ones she absolutely couldn’t get away with (eg heating). Of greatest concern was with our next door neighbour, who was severally reported as openly hostile and abusive, poisoning shrubs on the property and trespassing, throwing rubbish in our garden, amongst many other things. Landlord did nothing about this and in fact shared personal information about us with the neighbour. I believe this is illegal. She also bragged to my face on one occasion that she’d spent £10,000 on another rental property so couldn’t replace the rotting shed that had ruined our belongings. She didn’t raise the rent for several years, hence the 2 stars. I suspect she knew that would mean being accountable for all the above.

Comfortable and what we needed, but gradually neglected over the years we were there. Terrible neighbours.
