I would not recommend renting from this landlord. During my tenancy as a lodger, I experienced repeated issues with communication, maintenance, and respect for personal space. My belongings were moved without my permission on multiple occasions & concerns about repairs and property issues were not always addressed satisfactorily. The landlord–tenant relationship became strained whenever I raised legitimate concerns or exercised my rights as a lodger. The experience caused unnecessary stress & I would advise prospective tenants to ensure all agreements, inventories and communications are documented in writing.

The room was comfortable enough for day-to-day living. As this was a lodger arrangement with shared facilities, privacy and use of communal spaces were more limited than in a standard tenancy. I would recommend viewing the property carefully and discussing house rules in detail before committing.
