During our stay we were subject to threatening behaviour by our downstairs neighbour, who turned out to be our landlord's son. Our landlord was aware that this had been a pattern of behaviour, and did not inform us, or take sufficient action to protect us when this issue arose. We terminated lease early as a result.

Unfurnished property in Pittenweem. Lovely kitchen and bathroom. Heating did not work properly, leaving many rooms almost uninhabitable. This made the endemic mould problem far worse - by the time of our exit one entire room was more or less entirely mould. House had a tendency to shake in high winds or when a truck went by. Possible to hear noise from downstairs neighbour.

Pleasant, quiet neighbourhood (other than the obvious). Pittenweem is isolated somewhat and this made travel difficult. Shopping opportunities limited but there is a Co-Op supermarket in Anstruther and a small local store.
