Unethical and unprofessional. There's basically zero regulation on who can do the job as a letting agent, so any tool with a shiny, ill-fitting suit from Zara and a load of hair gel can call themselves an agent and try to rent out vacant rooms without a proper licence. They work for an overseas landlord, but they often control all communication between landlord and tenants. The tenants have no way of communicating their poor service to the landlord, or any future potential tenant. People who are entirely comfortable lying through their teeth for a living will be successful in that environment, and the above mentioned lack of regulation means there isn't much punishment for being caught lying to tenants, trespassing, ignoring repairs, not paying bills and harassing them. Trying to get as much money as possible for as little work as possible. A landlord that uses an unregistered managing agent either doesn't care about the property and just wants easy money, or they are abroad and have many other investments. Either way, stay away from this property. Living nightmare. Poorly managed.

Delayed repairs.
