Foxtons in United Kingdom

The agency (Foxtons) let her go after my tenancy as no one wanted to rent the flat (and she blamed them). Unfortunately, she managed the apartment, so the agency did not have much say in it.

The agency failed to respond to any of our requests for help with issues around the property. The agency failed to register our deposit.

Foxtons were pleasant to work with, however I am disappointed they keep this quality of landlord on.

Foxtons were good. They were professional with showing us the flat and the online system was useful to upload evidence. We had no other communication with them throughout our tenancy. This was covered by communication with the landlord. It would have been useful to tell us that they would not be managing the tenancy

Had one inspection since moving in 2 years ago, they lost the keys for 1 year meaning I had to take time off of work to wait in for planned inspections where they just didn't bother turning up. Had a wasps nest that they dragged their heels in addressing, and only took me seriously when I mentioned it was a health and safety issue. Had an issue with a faulty security alarm which they were extremely unhelpful with, and I had to fix myself as they were unwilling to do anything (even though it was part of the flat they're meant to manage.) Most recently they didn't correctly lock my front door after having a viewing, which is a serious security issue.

Foxtons, they knew the property was not fit for habitation but still put it on the market. The property had bed bugs and a moth infestation
