Reeds Rains in United Kingdom

Reeds Rains Crossgates - We didn't really deal with them during the tenancy as they didn't manage it. However upon leaving we had to deal with them to get our deposit back and I have never been fobbed off or lied to more. Promised updates and never received them, passing information on to the landlord without our permission, I could write for hours but I will just simply say avoid like the plague.

Waiting nearly 6 weeks for cooker to be repaired
Numerous visit for shower door to be replaced
Many repairs/ replacement of broken items left to myself to fund as landlord would not commit and agency did not advocate
Multiple unscheduled visits by agency- felt harassed and had to remind them regarding my right to ‘quiet enjoyment’
Collusion with landlord against tenant
All landlords can’t at details not shared until threatened with complaint AFTER end of tenancy

- Found it to be very rude with their very often visits that were not announced every time min 24 hour in advance.
Happened 3 times for them to INTRUDE by entering straight ahead, following up with excuses such as “oh sorry, we ringed you/texted you and you didn’t answer”. My boyfriend once was in the bathroom showering and the agent was trying to enter to show it to the visitor. Embarrassing. Luckily the door was locked.
Total lack of manner and knowledge (regarding the contract) coming from the agents. It clearly says in it that in emergency cases they are allowed to enter the property without the tenant’s consent. Is a visit an emergency? Ridiculous.
- Very slow-paced. Not as efficient as they claim to be. Everytime an issue was reported it took a good amount of time to be solved ( the only good thing that happened was that they replaced the oven - but after 3 months of REQUEST) and in lots of the cases, they were ignored.
