Do not rent from this landlord!!!! Worst landlord I have come across in over 10 years of renting.

He's puts the rent up excessively each year. He comes across as 'friendly' initally but really is a bully.

Becomes abusive when you try to leave.

Won't give you your deposit back.

He owns a few properties down Finch Close and every tenant has the same problem with him and be has a very bad reputation in the area.

Also goes by the name of 'Bryan'.

The landlord initially seemed friendly, but we thought it was all a bit of a front. He was clearly desperate to get a deposit out of us and get us to sign the contract . We had a few questions and kept saying 'he would have to go back to the office to discuss'. When we googled his office address, it's actually just a mailbox in Oxford - so no office. A lot of what he said didn't add up, a lot of red flags, obviously he's very money oriented. We decided against renting from him, found a better property, less money and nicer landlord.

We had a number of questions to clarify regarding furniture in the house, and parking onsite among other things. On speaking, he appeared friendly enough but we found some things did not quite make sense to us and communication felt uncertain. Just before we sent the deposit we paused to ask some questions and he then explained that standard procedure was to discuss all the applications with the ‘office’ (even before references) and the next day we received a rejection email.
