The area was nice, with a lovely bakery and pub round the corner and east access to shops and convenience stores.

Quiet, less studenty than Oldfield.

Nice area, Trowbridge House is a nice locally pub. Free pool on some days of the week, a jukebox and darts. Nice parks for walking very close by.

Nice area local to a few nice pubs and shops and close proximity to rural footpaths. Also close to the 22 bus route to Bath uni.

A bit far from city centre, but busses are frequent and station is so close the the house

Great location - perfect for students.

The part of Twerton we were in was fine, we were close to both a U5 bus stop to go onto university, and a 5 bus stop into town. Along Twerton High Street are two general stores, which was useful.
However, the way to the house is under a bridge and up a road that is not entirely well-lit, and on a few occasions there have been loud altercations along High Street, which, as young women often made us feel slightly worried for our safety. We were never approached and we always made sure there was a good distance between us and the arguments, but we always made sure to get back inside the house quickly.

I would very much recommend for students

Julian road is a haven for drunk, drugged up semi-homeless people. You can hear them at all hours.
Traffic is awful at rush hour.
But it is close to the centre.
