Very close to moorland road shops, not far to Sainsbury's and Lidl. Bus stop is a 5 min walk. Quiet neighbourhood

Nice area, neighbors are a little nosey and there is a curfew on noise, if any noise is reported to landlord there is a fine. If you dispose of your bin bags improperly In the bin store neighbors will go through bins to find who did it and leave the name and address from an envelope with a shady note taped to the outside of the bin store (even if it's just slightly outside of one of the bags in there even if they're all full).

It's a beautiful area and village, lots of bunnies but bus links are terrible coming hourly and from the only stop 10 mins away. There are no local shops the nearest is a spar garage that is a 15 min walk away.

The court is calm and has little to no traffic and is a two-minute walk from a pub, the canal walk and is a five-minute walk from a Lidl supermarket and bus stop. The neighbors are kind and conversational, and many are families with small children. There is a neighborhood badger who will sniff around and rummage through the bins, so this is something to be wary of. In terms of bin collections, there is a communal shed where general waste can be stored, but recycling will need to be left outside of the property's front door in their specified boxes.
The house is located behind Love Honey's depot, so occasionally loud music will play which can be disruptive to meetings and/or studies. There is also a house adjacent to the back garden where screaming and shouting from children and their parents can be heard most, if not every day. This can get annoying, especially for the tenants occupying the south-facing bedrooms.
Occasionally, food take-out deliveries and/or Amazon packages will be sent to Avondale Road as the turning to get onto the court is quite sharp and is easily missable by those not familiar with the area.

Small Co-op 3-4 minutes walk away, bigger Co-op, bakery, pharmacy, barbers and Post Office 10 minutes and Sainsbury's 20 minutes walk. As of writing, bus onto campus runs every hour but it is usually more regular when students are around. Bus into town is regular

Combe Down is a quiet village about two miles from Bath university campus. By bike, being on top of the hill, it takes about 15 minutes to cycle from Combe Down to campus. To walk, it is about 35 min. There are regular buses to campus (20C/20A) and the village itself has a small selection of shops and take-aways. There are regular buses to the city centre, which is also about 35 min walk away.

Near lidl, pets at home, hoobycraft etc. Able to walk in to main town center. Buses nearby. But does not make the house loud.
