Neighbourhood as expected, Heeley is a main road. But front door and back all very secure.

Selly Oak is a unique place mainly for students, little traffic along the street and feel safe on Rookery.

Just Selly Oak, north road isn't too noisy apart from the occasional noise from a loud group in the beer garden at the goose. Well lit road and feel safe because of proximity to main road. Permit required for parking on north road.

Very close to uni and shops so location was ideal for us. Small street near main road so well lit and so safe and friendly to walk down.

Fun if you're a student. Can get very noisy. Lots of shops but these are mostly takeaways.

Area has high crime rate. People often get mugged all the time. Bus and transport links are very good.

The area isn't the nicest place in the world but that is expected of a student area. It is a good well lit road.
