Greencourt house was a quiet block, no issues with neighbours.
Stepney Green is a busy area, mostly the cheaper kind of shop/food outlet. The tube station was <5 minutes walk.
Mile end park and the canal also close.

Fine... A quiet Street on the edge of Peckham, I have no complaints regarding the location

Area very close to Farringdon station - very quiet, especially on weekends. Exception is Thursday and Friday nights in summer as it is opposite a pub where people stand outside. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area, close to supermarkets also.

Area in 2009-2011 was ok, safety wise I'd be careful as it was dark and the street lights wasn't as bright. However, they're replacing them to these blue light giving LEDs in the streets.

Crime included a murder right at the end of the street teenagers killing in gang related warfare.

West Hampstead is nice. Lots of shops and restaurants. Loads of things to do in the evenings or weekends. Nice people and neighbours.

West Hampstead is nice. Road has families and friendly people. Good shops and restaurants. Lots of things to do in the evenings and weekends. Flat mates were great.

Camberwell has loads to offer. Amazing cafes, pubs and restaurants. Silk Road is a definite stand out. There are some great parks around and some beautiful old leafy streets.

Transportwise, the nearest tube is Oval on the Northern line which is about a 20 minute walk or a short bus ride. But trains from Denmark hill go direct to Victoria in 10 minutes and also go to Blackfriars, Farringdon and Kings Cross. You also have the overground to Clapham Junction for good trandport links. Loads of buses into central London and to Dulwich, Peckham, Battersea, Elephant and Castle and Greenwich.

Its also great having King's College Hospital so close for peace of mind and there are good local surgeries as well.

The only thing it has going for it is the close proximity to the local train station and shops and the area in general is peaceful and quiet with a park being just at the end of the road.

Great neighbourhood if you like eating out, walking in the canal, shopping in small independent labels and buying from markets. Saturdays are rather overcrowded with tourists though, as the flat is right next to the famous Portobello Rd market.

I couldn't fault the neighborhood to be fair - the street was quite quiet, and there was a train station/bus links about 5 mins away.
