Nice and quiet, as long as you don't mind the smell of sheep! The neighbours were nice and they were a lot more helpful when the private water supply was cut off.

I loved that this house is opposite the bowthorpe Marsh, felt nice to have a view of nature out the window. Neighbourhood is mainly families, I wasn’t aware of any other students on our road, so pretty quiet area. You can walk along the marsh opposite the house or get to earlham park really easily so has a nice run route close by too. Closest convenient shop is probably the tesco petrol station on Earlham road, maybe a 15 minute walk from the house. The 22 bus stop was a 5 minute walk from the house but town was only a 15 minute cycle away via earlham.
The road is pretty quiet from the house and could hear many birds in the morning.

The local area is decent. It is not too far from the university or high street shops.

The neighbough has a key to the property for some reason.

Near sainsburys and tesco. Lidl down the road too. Bus stop and tram stop nearby. Didn't have any problems.

Easy to get around Nottingham from here. Near both Sainsburys and Tesco. I was once followed walking to Tesco which was not ideal but thats Lenton for you.

A lot of the flats are rented so it's a bit hit and miss who is in your 'neighborhood'. One thing to note is that several of the flats are owned by older people so some things such as making noise or having BBQs in the shared garden are disapproved of by some residents.

Many of the residents are very friendly and it has been known to have a group BBQ on the odd occasion

The location is decent. A 5-10 minute walk to the train station and the centre of town. Close to bus stops for the U1 and U3 buses going to the University of Bath.

The road is busy and noisy, especially if you are in a room at the front of the house. The road is also permits only, however you can park outside the house to unload your car/pack up.

The neighbourhood is a hellhole. Do a search in the Liverpool Echo site for Lowbridge Court before you move here. Over the 5 years we've lived there there has been a £15 million drug bust down the street, a drug dealer living in the apartment opposite us on the hallway, a cannabis farm in the apartment neighbouring that one, and a drug dealing gang living in the next apartment block over which victimised us when they realised we were a same-gender couple with multiple public order offences and physical assaults all recorded with the police. The estate management company is obstructive to tenants in dealing with these matters and say they retain CCTV footage for only 7 days, don't recall footage on request of tenants (only the police, who usually take longer than a week to properly begin their investigation, they also ask the police to pay for recalling the footage). When we left this gang was openly dealing drugs out of the front gates and persistently loitering around outside their block causing anti-social behaviour issues with residents.
Additionally, despite it being against the terms of the leasehold, the apartment directly beneath is let out as an AirBnB style booking and has people coming and going causing noise at all hours of the day and having parties. Estate management has also taken no effective steps to remedy this at the time we left (Feb 2020).

Neighbourhood is fine however, if you do end up in a disagreement with them you can't really rely on the neighbours as they won't speak up, citing that it would be too much trouble, I suspect that the landlords set out to intimidate anyone who speaks up against them and because they are also cowards they will do this by playing games posting threatening letters before running away, or perhaps poisoning animals, as around the same time they were attending my new address or having their solicitor attend my address my dog suddenly became ill and died of kidney failure

Great student area. Good transport links, close to university, shops and gym. We moved properties but remained in the same area.
