Decent neighbourhood, close to transport and to uni. Also close to bars and local shop

The neighbourhood was centrally located. There was a car park within the block of flats at no extra cost, which was great.

Right next to the downs, bus stop just outside. Uni is a 20/25 minute walk. Clifton Down is only 10 mins away too. There is currently a building site next door (and its big), so between that and the petrol station on the other side, as well as the busy road and junction below, it IS quite loud there.

Genuinely a lovely area, hence why it is such a shame I have write about this horrible couple, who think they can take advantage of poor vunderable people.

Area seemed nice enough and you are never far from countryside. Neighbours friendly if you can ignore the bloke next door singing at the top of his voice all day every day.

It is a lovely area. It is quiet and peaceful. It is close to two supermarkets, and within walking distance of the canal.

The only great thing about it? 10 min walk to city centre. Everything is close.
Area a bit noisy. Being close to center, in the night lots of people pass next to the building, as well as cars. The apartment being at the ground floor.

Area is noisy but not too bad and the nieghbours (who all dislike this landlord by that way) are lovely helpful people. And main reason moved there was it was so close to my kids school and train station to work.

Nothing interesting. The Southampton General Hospital is right across the street so if you are working there the commuting time falls to zero. Ideal for those working long shifts. Also many bus stations nearby, very easy access to City Centre.
Unfortunately, shops are not very close. You can always buy food from M&S in the hospital but it is very expensive.
