Area was great. Good transport routes but a lack of shops. Could be a little noisy due to children playing but can't complain.

Top of Twerton is a rough area. Difficult to get to University via bus (needed two busses). Connections were bad and the 5 varied and was often late.
Not much around to access by foot, within 5 minutes.

Oldfield Park is a fantastic location for bus routes, shops, communities, and parks.

On Priory Avenue, not too far from Morrisons, Hughenden Road, Roberts Road or Uni/Town.

Not bad but not good. Friendly neighbours, however wouldn't live in the area again. Took the house because of commuting links and landlord allowed my dog on property.

Areas convenient for me for work but its right by a main road and quite noisy as a result. Front door to the flats doesn't lock properly so anyone can just walk in. Also convenient for amenities and town but thats the only thing going for it. Area is light industrial and commercial. Also quite a lot of theft from the car park in terms of motorbikes/bicycles/car break ins and no cctv or security.

its bitter Sweet.
On the one hand its central and quiet with plenty amenities. On the other there are cheap properties in the area which are run down and rented to drug addicts. in 5 months in the area I have seen heroin needles on the street 3 times but its probably quite good for Central Middlesbrough. There is plenty Great food and grocery stores for the amateur chefs.

Woodlands is a great area - the Arlington pub is worth a visit, especially on a Friday night, and the garage nearby is handy for essentials. No large supermarkets in walking distance however. It's close to the city centre, Kelvingrove park, several subway stations, and Glasgow University.
