very boring, sometimes got followed on the way home by someone intoxicated, even in day time

Superb - near shops, uni bus routes, parks and countryside, just a short walk to town.

Less than a 10 minute walk to local shops, Aldi, Tesco, Sainsbury's, and lots of places to eat.
Lots of bus stops nearby and local pubs, bars, gym, shops.

Rookery road was a LOT nicer to live on than dawlish where I lived last year a lot quieter and cleaner and felt a bit safer walking back at night. However still in selly and there were break ins and smashed cars. Much easier to park too

The local area is very nice. Situated a 5 minute walk from town, the location is optimal. There are also multiple U2 bus stops which are really useful for travelling to University of Bath campus. The journey doesn't take more than 25 minutes each way. One down side of the area (and the property) is the lack of parking in the surrounding area. The property has no parking and the surrounding streets are all permit parking which makes it very hard to find a parking space.

NOTE: the neighbourhood is undoubtedly higher than a 4 star rating, although giving a higher rating would give this property a better rating which is frankly does not deserve.

Local area is what you expect for a university 2nd and 3rd year housing. Selly oak has everything you need

The area is outside of the main Selly Oak area which results in a much quieter atmosphere if that is what you are looking for. However, this means that it is roughly a 30 minute walk to UoB campus and the main Selly Oak amenities

Nice like selly, everything available in walking distance.
Good takeaways and shops nearby

Very close to the university and shops. Easy access to the city centre via train/bus/bike. Reasonable green spaces nearby for walking/sports. Sometimes the streets can be a bit dirty as bins are an issue, but nothing you wouldn't expect from a student area.

Good rail links. Tiverton feels quite safe and the house is opposite the gym which is convenient.
