The condition of the property was absolutely disgusting when I entered. Due to moving in during the height of covid, I could only video call to check out the house. Many things were hidden in this video call, including the rancid state of the property - there were peeling walls, an enormous hole in the roof covered by a plastic tarp, the genuinely vile state of the house - the carpets, walls, ceiling, beds (mine had an enormous red stain on either side), the abundance of rust and dust in the property, broken stairs at the front of the property, dangerous fire hazards with wires and a microwave in which something has exploded, a leaking kettle, broken oven, the list goes on.

"We were told rooms had been deep cleaned before we moved in but this was obviously not true. During this period I was working in mental health and some of the houses I visited were in terrible condition - this house was no different and in fact was worse than many of the accommodations I visited.

"I was told my room was going to be deep cleaned before moving in, however this wasn't the case my room was still in a state when I moved in, the mattress was stained, the walls was marked, the bathroom ceiling was covered in mould and the standards of the bathroom was worse than vile. My shower was thick with dirt, I spent an hour and a half cleaning the shower and it was still very dirty." - From another tenant who had to move out due to the state of the house and rudeness of the landlord and agency.
