This house is brilliant - spacious, well decorated and fab location! You couldn’t ask for better

3 bedroom detached house. It had damp we spotted the day we moved in, the landlord claimed it was 'historic damp'. Mould grew in all 3 bedrooms and the study, in 2 bedrooms the walls were wet to the touch and droplets of damp water would run down them. 2 housemates began having damp-related health issues. Damp survey showed the house was too damp for occupancy so the landlords served us a section 21 eviction notice, telling us they had to complete 2-3 months of damp-proofing. They then re-uploaded the house to housing websites with a move-in date which was just 1 month after the day we moved out. We doubt they would have had time to complete such enormous damp work within this short period when the house was unoccupied.
