The property had reasonable floor space for the rent price offered which was below market value at the time, (though this increased by close to 30% the following year)
There was next to no insulation, it was 40 degrees inside when 35 outside and colder and damper in the winter. Boiling to freezing. Mould heavily present in the bedroom and condensation in all the windows as well as gaps between windows and walls letting air in.
Repeated leaks and plumbing issues, broken extractor fan, cheap and short-lived washing machine, uneven flooring, no airflow in bathroom and horrendous black mould issue. Cabinet fell of wall on first day landing on my partner.
