Flat 1 is a complete and utter shithole with a leaking roof. The big bedroom has moisture in the plaster but is apparently still habitable. There’s damp on the walls in the other rooms as well but they’ve done absolutely fuck all. Contractors have left the whole flat a mess. Don’t live there unless you want to be fucked over by Martin & Co and be patronised just because you’re a student. The beds are about as straight as Elton John! Also applies to the floors and the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. I feel sorry for you if you live here next year.

FLAT 1!!! Incredibly sh*t. I’ve seen and been in council houses that are more thoughtfully furnished than this (student) property. Bizarre furniture choices, as minimal as it is - why do the bedrooms each have an antique cuck chair??? They have somehow managed to make my grandmother’s house look and feel futuristic in comparison, which should be classed as an achievement. It’s also incredibly strange how they decided to have a 2-in-1 lounge/bedroom, causing the person who would be staying there to have no ounce of privacy. The only reason that this wasn’t a problem was because the room functioned better as a water park - with a leak that almost caused the ceiling to collapse. After 3+ months the room still hasn’t been redone. The service is crap, though the same could be said for the rest of Bath. The windows are so old and rickety, they should be in a museum instead of in a house. Heat does not stay in and you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on outside, which is awful considering this flat is on a main road in the city centre. Our flat is a prime victim of the Landlord Special(TM), with poorly painted walls, ceilings and skirting boards. The doors creak and it would be incredibly easy for a burglar to knife their way in through the “security” lock. The kitchen/dining area is tiny yet there is so much wasted potential space in bedroom 1/the lounge. The floors aren’t level/straight as well. Also, say goodbye to a reliable source of hot water! If you want to heal your inner Neanderthal, this flat would be perfect for you <3
