Juxon let a number of Victorian properties adjacent to the Kiddington Estate about 12 miles north west of Oxford. We've had a horrendous time with them and really can't recommend strongly enough staying well clear. They're unpleasant, dishonest and exploitative & totally messed us about with ending the tenancy - took months to get things resolved and get our deposit back but needed to take it through TDS. Changes in tenancy law re deposits can't come fast enough to reign in this lot.

Really prone to damp and mould. Very difficult to heat property properly, high fuel bills because of lack of insulation/poorly fitting, single pane windows. Property not on mains water supply - on private supply from Kiddington Estate meant ongoing problems with very low water pressure (were even asked not to use water at certain times of day during hot weather), water supply would also periodically completely cut out when there were pump problems at manor house. Also electricity supply dropped out regularly sometimes for day at a stretch - never got explanation why was so unreliable. We had problems getting repairs addressed by landlord, needed to chase repeatedly. Although landlord allows pets, not safe - B road behind houses is busy and several neighbours have had cats killed on this road. Properties aren't good for dogs either - not fenced in properly, livestock in neighbouring fields and couple of aggressive neighbour dogs
