This in my opinion was a terrible experience. I have not felt welcome at this flat due to the flea presence which I believe were there prior my arrival. I had no fleas prior my arrival (I have a letter from my previous rented flat), nor any skin problems as my medical records show.

Letting Agent rating
Misleading information during viewing and in the advert. Errors and false statements in the report they provided about the fleas issue. Deposit pass to landlord before being informed, before the payment they said they will hold the deposit.

At my arrival at the property (Flat 4) I have received bites on my back while sitting on the sofa and sleeping in bed. Kent pest control identify fleas in the flat. I suffer from skin rashes, urticaria. I have moved into a hotel and try to find another place to stay. I signed a six months contract and I was liable for another 5 mounts rent. I have asked permission to leave however this was not accepted without payment of the 5 months rent. however not a price I was willing to pay. This case went to court. From the total of 3375£ my opponent claimed, 1000£ was deducted as part of my counterclaim. I found it difficult to convince the judge that living in a flat where fleas were found was rather difficult. My opponent implied that I could have bought the fleas myself in transit. However for what I know pets are not allowed on flights. The agent informed me that the landlord is a cat owner. There was also some issues with my terminology. I am not a native speaker. The judge said that my infestation word was not correct an infestation is a large number and the pest controller said he only saw 3 fleas. I said I am allergic to flea bites but the judge said none of my doctors stated that in the letters I provided as evidence of flea bites. I did not have my bill electricity with me and the judge though I am exaggerating in my counterclaim with the amount. I had pay ca 800£ electricity over a period of 4 months, due to washing all my clothes at 90 degrees. From the total of 3375£ that my opponent was claiming 1000£ was deducted as part of my counterclaim and I had to pay my opponent court fees. In total I pay ca 4335£ this includes first month rent and my deposit for a flat in which I lived 2 weeks. In addition to this I had to pay hotels, dermatologist, skin care products. This was a very unpleasant experience for me that left me with a bitter hearth.

Quiet for winter time. I would have not gone out after dark. Lots of dog owners walking the dogs on the shore.
