Tenancy review for 49 Sandiacre Drive in Charnwood, Leicester rented from Manjula Modhwadia

Mostly flatly refused to perform repairs. When repairs were completed, they were not undertaken by a professional. Poor quality work, the bare minimum which mostly didn't really fix the issue. No gas safety completed in our 30 month tenancy. No carbon dioxide alarm fitted, just given to us in retail packaging and expected us to fit ourselves, same with 2nd floor smoke alarm. Entered the property before the end of the tenancy without permission and stole our furniture. Never returned out deposit. Never updated contract once she stopped using a letting agency so no way of contacting her via post.

A decent sized property, mid terrace with 3 bedrooms (two double and a single), kitchen, open plan living/dining room. 1 bathroom. The electrics are unreliable and seemed to trip out often in the winter, likely due to damp and condensation in the outside light fittings. Bathroom fittings were not of good quality, kitchen is poorly laid out and gas hob had a faulty ignition.

Local shopping centre, convenience store just 1 minute away. Neighbours seems to trade in cars from the street so parking isn't always easy. On a bus route, can be a bad thing as bus passes the house every 5 minutes in the daytime and run 6:30am-11pm.
