Did not always give 24 hours notice before attempting to gain access to the flat, once turned up only 5 mins after texting request. Every maintenance request was met with scepticism and doubt, requiring me to prove to him that a) an issue was there and b) I didn't cause it before he'd accept and arrange repairs. In dispute about deposit, luckily protected.

1 bed flat with kitchen/diner/living area and tiny bathroom. Weird angles made arranging furniture a bit challenging. Mostly fine until the rodents moved into the void space between walls/floor.... although I sent recordings of the gnawing noises and visitors confirmed the very strong smell of rodent urine, the landlord refused to acknowledge the noises or smell, and would not take action.

Extremely convenient for shops, leisure and transport. Lively street life outside, frequent sirens through the night. Lots of rubbish and often dubious characters hanging around at the back of the property.
