Communication essentially non-existent. Did not respond to emails or promptly fix issues with the house. For example, not responding to pressing issues for over a month or two.
There was also an abundance of dirty and broken items when we moved in.
He is patronising and very clearly believes that he is superior to students. He will charge by default for "professional" cleaning at the end of the tenancy, regardless of if you have left it in a better state than when you moved in.
Tenants in other properties of his had similar experiences.

A nice house with good size bedrooms, great for students. Good sized garden too. However, during the winter it was freezing cold, even with the heating on; we could see our breath in the living room. Mould growing in multiple rooms, specifically the ones at the front of the house with little change, despite us taking measures to attempt to stop / treat the mould
