This was a first time let for this landlord and it showed. Although we hadn't met in person, she came across as self entitled, mean and although she was getting an inflated rent from us, didn't seem to want anyone living there. We were without a cooker for 3 weeks because she was reluctant to replace a 30+ year old has cooker, not caring about the implications of a bad leak and carbon monoxide alarm not working. On checkout from this rental, the agents result was that I had left the house in an immaculate condition but the agent still proceeded to stop us £30 out of our deposit for a couple of weeds in the garden and no recompense for being without a cooker. We also received unnecessary call backs to the property despite
checks being satisfactory in the first place which was of some embarrassment to the agents. Needless to say, agents cancelled her contract mid tenancy.

Condition of the property was ok but very dated, appliances also very dated. No upstairs bathroom or wc which is unacceptable for a 3 bed property these days. Also, as a detached property, far too near to next neighbour, front doors are opposite each other.
