A lovely man, very kind-hearted and clearly cared a lot for the property. Unfortunate that he chose to use Swallows as a Letting Agent. We usually bypassed them and had direct contact with the Landlord over issues we had. He always treated us with respect and gave us plenty of notice before visiting. He did insist on keeping a lot of his own stuff in the property (not just useful furniture, but a large number of ornaments, pictures & kitchen equipment) which was not ideal as space was so limited.

We were not at all impressed with the service from Swallows. They charged us very high fees at every turn, including a £120 ‘check-out fee’ to be able to leave. They were slow to attend to repairs, even urgent ones. They also gave us false information about where we would be allowed to park. We found their communication to be rude and always felt like they were looking to catch us out, despite the fact that we always kept the property to a very high standard. They insisted on 3 monthly inspections and often only gave us notice the day before.

A nice two bed property, kept in good condition but suffering with damp. Some lovely rooms. Unfortunately very dark and filled with too many things!
