Section of flooring missing due to removal of a cupboard. We were advised at the time of viewing this would be repaired before we move in. It wasn't. Followed up with Landlord and was advised they would see if it could be patched. They didn't. Followed up again to be told they couldn't replace it at the moment. Reported a storm damaged fence in February and was told they would look into it. No response for 2 months so Followed up again, sent someone out to 'look at the fence' and thats what they did, they looked at it. Handed our notice in in June and still no fence or floor repair. On exit inventory Landlord has claimed for 'damages' that were present from prior to our tenancy and has conveniently missed certain images on the entry report but then highlighted them on the exit report and is withholding our deposit. Messages and emails have been ignored by the Landlord and they pick and choose which bits of the contract they will apply based on what suits them. Luckily we took lots of pictures and have recorded all conversations but we now have to fight for what should have been provided as a matter of course. In our notice, we agreed the tenancy end date but the landlord was pushy and constantly asking when we would return the keys despite our rent being paid up to the agreed date. Terrible experience with this Landlord and this is just the highlights

Needed deep clean upon moving in, kitchen floors were filthy, cupboards unclean and large amount of debris collected in radiators. Section of floor missing from living room, gardens unkempt and floorboard missing or damaged on landing which landlord has now claimed was our responsibility and is withholding deposit
