Tenancy review for 9 Victoria Street in Carholme, Lincoln rented from Valerie Middleton rented via William H Brown

Let herself in to the house and garden unexpectedly, repeatedly. Even after us telling her she couldn't do that.
We woke up one day to our front door opening and her walking in to the house with no notice.
Doesn't respond to texts or phone calls.
We had arranged a time for her to come and look at something in the house, we waited for 2 hours, called and text and no response.
We text her to say 'We have to go out now because we've been waiting for you for too long, do not enter our house whilst we are not there'. We then came back an hour later to find, not only had she waited for us to go out before entering our house illegally, she had put all of our recyclable waste into refuse bags and put them outside of the house!
There were too many incidents like this one during our 24 month tenancy, as well as her trying to claim our whole deposit for 'unpaid rent' when we had paid on time every month.

Useless, they will take all of your money for "Admin fees" and then when you have problems with your landlord letting themselves into the house whenever they like, it's nothing to do with them and you'll 'Have to take it up with the landlord'.
They are fully aware that Ms Middleton is a rogue landlord but continue to have a number of her properties on their books.

Small and in need of renovation.
Full of mould and damp.
Had to keep old rotten bathroom window open all day every day, even through winter due to damp.
This was the landlord's advice whenever questioned about it too.

The area was generally great, really close to town, not very noisy and not much trouble. Right behind the police station.
