Harminder Bilkhu Singh. Rem this name and avoid! This landlord was listed as one of the landlords recommended by the student union of Uni of Warwick. However he turned out to be a rogue landlord which caused alot of problems for us! So please scoot far away from the landlord named HARMINDER BILKHU SINGH. He may appear all nice in the beginning but seriously don't be duped by that.

I stayed in the 5 Kingsland avenue 1st floor unit in 2016.
Mouldy property without central heating at all. Only provided two radiators that were useless in providing warmth during winter. Caused us alot of grief. Due to the horrible ventilation, there was alot of mould build up in the house. Very toxic house. However the landlord does not give a toot and puts the blame on the tenants to get more money out from them.
Also tried to cheat us of electricity money. We chose the rent without bills included so he charged us based on the pay as you go meter. However within a week of staying we noticed that per unit cost was way above market price and we also verified it with Eon whose customer service officer said that "you guys are way overcharged". We then found out that he went to tweak the meter to charge a higher unit price. Due to the way he installed this meter, the electricity in our unit frequently tripped and we were very reliant on our ground floor neighbours to get it back to work. Once the neighbours were out of shift work and were only back in the morning, we had to spend the night in extreme cold and no food.

The neighbourhood is fine and near to the bus stop. Convenient location but the landlord made the experience terrible.
