Tenancy review for 94 Skinner Street in Poole Town, Poole rented via Scott Castle Letting Agents

The level of abuse from these people beggers belief. From screaming down the phone demanding monies on a shortfall of £2.37 in rent (they were expecting monies on a Thursday the standing order was set up to pay on a Friday), to, phoning me up on the day of my mothers funeral, knowing it was her funeral, demanding to know when I was returning home (phone call was recorded). Then reporting me to Benefits for abandoning my home when I was helping my father with my mothers funeral and estate. Its taken 6 years to get some repairs done (still not done) and about 3 years to get others done ( now promising to get fixed). While suffering YEARS of abuse from the neighbour from hell (evidenced) Scott Castle phoned me up and threatened me with eviction if I did not become friends with him! WTF!!!... An older man and lady keep coming to my flat. And letting themselves in without consent. Contractors are given keys and tenants are not informed of their visit even though Scott Castle know the contractors can be arrested for turning up and letting themselves in unannounced. The team try to run a dictatorial relationship with tenants even when it breaches their rights in LAW or as I am currently experiencing Article 14 of The Human Rights Act as my disabilities mean I claim housing benefits. One of the team claims to be a part time police officer and uses that fact as a means of leverage and intimidation. I have evidence that this may not be true and if it was Dorset Police will NEVER allow this officer to use their position in such a way. Personal details including my private phone number are handed out without my consent. I hope this very truthful review will encourage Scott Castle to review their abusive ways and change! Somehow I don't think they will and will start plotting their revenge. I have had no choice but to treat them as a 'hostile landlord' for approx 3 years and will continue to do so.. Don't let Scott Castle bully you!

1 bedroom flat which has not been updated since 1980's.It is a flat in a block of 9 with secure entry purpose built in the 1960's

Council and private tenants. The elderly are being kicked out into homes by the council and young trouble makers are being moved in so the estate in on a downward spiral at the moment which is a real shame
