Great man at first, when you're paying your initial rent and deposit. After that, every man for himself.
Read the contract, and dont take him for his word. Ensure everything is in writing and take pictures before you move in and when you move out as he'll try get as much money out of you as possible.

Kitchen is always messy and shared areas are never clean.
Bathroom gets mouldy as there's no extractor
After some time you realise landlord just painted ontop of rotten walls as they start to crack and peel off over time.
