Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in Manchester

The neighbourhood is calm and no disturbances. But I already have a big disturbance in the name of my landlord and dont need one from outside.

A lot of rubbish everywhere and the smell of weed very strong. A lot of noise as well. particularly over weekends.

Good neighbor hood lots to do shops close by and a train station close by as well as buses.

It 1 minute walk to the bus stations and you can go walking to the city centre. Also train station is 10 mins walk.

The local area was really great with amazing neighbours. Would have given it a 10/10, however a troubled kids home opened up at the end of our street and they ended up taking drugs in our garden and causing all sorts of havok.

It is an amazing neighborhood. All our neighbors got along very well and the area is very pretty with nice green spaces and ideally placed between west Didsbury and Didsbury village.

Run down area but close to shops and a park. Close to bus route. Opposite Victorian Baths.

Nice area, no problems, neighbours mostly kept to themselves. No problems with burglary or anything, near to the centre of Longsight.

Great to get into and out of the city centre easily. Can be noisy at night though; especially being at a major junction of a major road. Expect sirens 24/7, and noisy neighbours.

The area is a typical student area, the road was lovely but not very safe and notorious for break-ins and muggings
