Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in United Kingdom

It's quite far away from the centre, ideally have a car. Neighbours right next door have domestic issues so if you get an upstairs room far left you will hear them argue, usually graveyard hours. Street is way too quiet so you will hear everything that's happening on it, especially mowing the lawn, voices etc.

Bus isn’t very reliable and the area around the accommodation isn’t too residential/doesn’t always feel safe at night. There are decent shops though so that’s good and a tram stop nearby

Other student accommodations, bit difficult to get to uni but not bad................

So close to uni and felt safe especially with the security gates. The transport was also good

Dodgy area, the outlook of the house is nice but it’s a rough part of Nottingham, have been followed home by strangers and spat at

It’s a bit dodgy, wouldn’t recommend going out late at night by yourself- make sure to go with a group of people

Seems a bit dodgy but livable, close walking distance to the teams and Aldi, free bus with The Maltings

Quick to get to everything, close to uni and town and the city and transport links like trains and trams

A lot to do in the neighbourhood but can be dangerous at times. 2 min walk from tram stop and opposite uni

Local area is good and its easy to get around on the local transport buses and trams are very regular
