Broomhall appears much worse than it is, run down in places but a community feel more so than other studenty areas. Convenient for town, eccy road and the universities and hospitals

Lovely area, right near town, parks, the bus/train stations... Bedroom overlooks the lovely Honeybourne walking path. Unfortunate that council office building opposite the flat is due for demolition - this has been ongoing/pending for 8 months.

The property is behind the Cathedral so extremely close to all amenities. The house feels secure with bars over the downstairs windows and many locks, so the city centre location doesn't feel dangerous. A tram stop and bus stops are a 2 minute walk away.

20 minute walk from the university but relatively high rent. Shops, pubs and restaurants closeby. Other students living on the same street but generally a quiet area.

Decent transport, fairly close to shops, felt safe, near nice walks. Nice neighbors, just the odd unreliability of the U2.

Amazing area and with transport links to Reading and London beyond. Set right on the River Thames.

Really well connected to local amenities, bars and pubs. A 20 minute walk into the city centre. Just on the edge of The JQ so quite close to a deprived area of Brum (Ladywood) and in the middle of a building site for most of the time we were there.

The area in general (ie Mill Road) is thriving and vibrant, and very close to the centre. The traffic is awful, but there are lovely back ways to travel into town by bike. There is a cafe opposite, a new mosque, plenty of shops and a giant sainsburys just around the corner. Romsey Lakes and the brook are a very short walk away.

There is a bus-stop directly outside the front of the house, and a coop supermarket 30 seconds away, as well as two pubs within five minutes walk. The river is fairly close too, as is Cambridge North train station. Excellent for anyone working on the Science Park or Business Park, though further away from the town centre than I'd like to be (about a 20 minute cycle).

Close to local shops, train station, busses, and great neighbours. Couldn't fault it.
