I personally loved living there. The house is by a busy road, but the windows are good and block most of the noise. I was lucky and could see both - the sun rise and sun set from my bedroom windows! Really good transport links just few mins walk away, same with local shops and cafes.

Local area is ok but a little boring as there isn't much in the way of shops, &c. It seemed like a relatively safe neighbourhood but eerily quiet.

We had a couple of strange housemates but this is the thing you will never know in advance. People can change quickly within a short time. As we are easy going people we didn't have any problems with them.

Good location, right by the Aldi supermarket which is ideal for shopping as a student. There are lots of restaurants nearby and good walking distances of both universities. Seems a relatively safe area although there are some incidents, this is a city though.

For me the local area was unpleasant although as mentioned the long term neighbours were lovely. Really pleasant people. There was a lot of movement among neighbours but that is to be expected in London. It is on a long road with several late night corner stores. It is reasonably near to a late night Tesco superstore. As mentioned bus stop opposite and overground train station a ten minute (at most) walk. I cycle and the cycling was horrendous. The roads and infrastructure are poorly maintained, large potholes, and dangerous driving.

Area was close to city centre, anyone can jump from the backyards and also most of Ex tenants has keys that they can come in.

I actually like the neibourhood, it's the only reason I held on as long as I did. Close to absolutely everything.

Good links with uni and buses etc but a bit loud if you live at the front of the house.

The neighbourhood is OK, not luxurious but close to the city centre and as a result, a very diverse mix of social, racial, circumstantial, professional backgrounds. It does lack social amenities such as restaurants and bars, but there is a beautiful park (Birchfields) and it is a short walk into the city centre. In terms of safety, the street I lived on specifically (Dickenson Rd) could be questionable at times and there was often a man lurking outside my front door asking for money.

Your only neighbour is the landlord. I wish we had know how horrible she was before moving in as we wouldn't have gone near the place. Leaving due to her behaviour.
