Fine, well located for joys of rye lane and station. Neighbors a bit noisy but overall the location is really good and close to the park.

It’s nice. An established area with a lot of shops, services, buses and parks. Street lights are bright- felt safe at night. Police station just down the road also. No private parking space but on street parking.

It’s very close to UoD which is great. Magdalen Green is nearby and a good place to relax in the sun with friends.
The bridge is now built so an easy walk to a large Tesco.
The area is semi quiet. Definitely one of the quieter student options on campus along with West Park.
Good view of the river.
It’s not ideal for a quick message from the corner shop. If you need milk or coffee, etc you have about a 10-minute walk to shops.

Shaldon is lovely and the farmhouse is in a beautiful spot, with lots of wildlife around.

The neighbourhood was okay, dodgy at night, and I was warned about the area several times. It doesn't look very clean. And I was pretty sure I saw some dodgy dealings taking place in the area.

The neighbourhood was lovely. The neighbours in the flat were all very friendly and there were plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. We were upset that the landlord was so horrible as we really enjoyed staying in the area.

The flat is in a very good area, close to transport and amenities. High street is in walking distance.

I really love living in Broomhall, in my opinion it is the best area of Sheffield to live in as a student, as it is close to the centre of town and uni, and is close to a number of shops (Aldi)

There are good views from the flat and street.
There are so many convienence stores, shops, grocers, butchers, bakers, take-away restaurants, a post office, bank and specialised retail in the area- that it is hard to beat having everything within 5 minutes walk.
There was also a gym and a local Saturday market, but I read there was a fire recently and that this is on longer here, which is a shame as I was a regular user of both.
There are many good parks and the Law (the hill with the view 360’ over the city nearby.
There were one or two occasions when there was noise outside this came from the bar that I could recall. The drama was quite good entertainment, but certainly not a regular thing.
My flatmates and I felt very safe in the property and walking around the area alone.

Great location in town. Close to shops, the Scores, and most of academic buildings (at least for the humanities).
