low crime, nice area of york, near centre and near park. Lots of neighbourhood cats. My bike got stolen in the alley but it was left unlocked so that's inevitable.

It's a nice place, right by the Barbican. Good pubs nearby and it's right near Fossgate which has a lot of the best restaurants and independent shops in York. It's easy to walk into town or to Foss Islands shops.

Not the cushiest area in York but nice by the standards of anywhere else in the north. Good pubs.

About a fifteen minute walk to Gloucester Road and right next to Stokes Park. There are some loudish people on the estate but they never cause issues.

Everything you need is pretty much within a short walking distance, bus stop outside that goes into to town or to temple meads
